Ferry Jaya Permana is a lecturer at Department of Mathematics, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung.  He is currently the Dean of Faculty of Information Technology and Sciences. He holds Bachelor Degree from ITB (Mathematics) and Master Degree from ITB (Actuarial Matehmatics). He finished his PhD in Mathematical Finance from the Delft University of Technology, Netherlands in 2008. He completed the KNAW (Royal Netherlands of Academy of Arts and Sciences) Postdoc Programme in study of the Risks Management with Derivatives in Emerging Markets at the Free University, Netherlands – Universitas Gajah Mada, Yogyakarta. He has been involved as jury in UNPAR’s Mathematics Competition for more than 10 years.


Philips Nicolas Gunawidjaja is the Head of Physics Department at Parahyangan Catholic University in Bandung. He obtained his PhD in Physics from the University of Warwick, UK and completed his Postdoctoral studies in Biomaterials at the Arrhenius Laboratory, University of Stockholm, Sweden. He has worked for over 10 years in the field of education as a teacher, lecturer, teacher trainer, curriculum and materials designer, and education consultant. He has special interest in teacher training and curriculum and materials development.


Dharma Lesmono is an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics, Universitas Katolik Parahyangan where he has been working for more than 24 years. He is currently the Head of Department of Mathematics Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (UNPAR). He holds Bachelor Degrees from ITB (Mathematics) and UNPAR (Accounting). He completed his Master Degrees from ITB (Industrial Engineering) and The University of Twente, The Netherlands (Mathematics). In 2006, he finished his PhD from The University of Queensland, Australia (Mathematics). He has been involved as jury in UNPAR’s Mathematics Competition for more than 10 years.


Mariskha Tri Adithia obtained her bachelor's degree from Department of Mathematics, Bandung Institute of Technology. She then continued her study to pursue a master's degree in Technishe Universiteit Eindhoven, the Netherlands, in Information Security Technology. In 2008, she finished her professional doctorate study, in the same university, majoring in Communication and Information. During this professional doctorate study, Mariskha involved in a project which evaluating smart card security; working together with Brightsight, a security laboratory in Delft, the Netherlands.  After finishing her study, she worked as an IT consultant at Collis B.V., a company in Leiden, the Netherlands, specializing in testing payment systems and smart cards.

In 2010, Mariskha started working at Department of Informatics, Parahyangan University (UNPAR) and currently, she is the head of the Department of Informatics. She teaches some mathematics, information security, and cryptography courses in the department. Those areas are also her main research interest.


Hokky Situngkir was born on February 7 th , 1978, and is currently the director of Research
Center for Complexity Studies in Surya University and the President of the Bandung Fe Institute, the
institute for social complexity in Indonesia. His research spectrum is diverse from computational
sociology studies, memetics and cultural evolutionary studies, dynamical system analysis, neural
network and statistical modeling, and financial analysis.
His works have been awarded the 101, 102, 103, and 104 most prospective Innovations in Indonesia
(2009-2011) by the Republic of Indonesia Research and Technology Ministry. He was a laurete of Ahmad
Bakrie Award (2011) for outstanding young scientist. His works on Indonesian Batik were recorded by
Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) and received the National Intellectual Property Award from the
Republic Indonesia Ministry of Law and Human Rights (2013). He received the Silver Medal of Ganesha
Innovation Champinship Award (GICA, 2014) from the Association of Institut Teknologi Bandung Alumni.
Situngkir is an Ashoka Fellow (2012) and the national Tempo news magazine named him as one of the
10 Inventors in Indonesia (2012).

Syailendra Harahap graduated from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, Bandung, Indonesia. He started his work promoting science in Indonesia by develop experiment for science television program “Galileo” (2004) and “Science is Fun” (2011). He also conduct teachers training and workshop “fun with science & research” accross islands and remote areas in Indonesia for more than ten years. Syailendra is director and one of the founder of Center for Innovative Learning, steering committee member of Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists (APCYS), president of International Science Enterprise Challenge (ISEC), and he also jury member in international science fairs and International Conference of Young Scientists (ICYS).


Reinard Primulando is a lecturer at the Department of Physics, Universitas Katolik Parahyangan. He also serves as the Head of Basic Physics Laboratory, Universitas Katolik Parahyangan. In 2012, he finished his PhD from The College of William and Mary, USA. He has worked as a postdoctoral fellow at The Johns Hopkins University. He has been involved as an advisor for the teams from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan in the Mathematical Contest in Modelling and The University Physics Competition.


Benny Yong is currently a lecturer at Department of Mathematics, Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, and has 15 years of experience in mathematics research and teaching. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in mathematics from Sultan Idris Education University, Malaysia, in 2017. He is also a mathematics trainer, with a strong passion in mathematical problem solving, and as jury member in many mathematics competitions. He also wrote mathematics books and active in writing papers to journals, giving presentations, and in conducting workshops and trainings in Indonesia. His research interests are population dynamics, mathematical modelling, and recreational mathematics.


Farah Kristiani is currently affiliated with Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, Indonesia as a lecturer of Mathematics Department. Her present research interests are in Applied Statistics, includes Bayesian dengue disease modelling, and actuarial science in life insurance. 

Math teacher of Saint Angela Senior High School. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Department of Mathematics Education, Sanata Dharma University. She then continued her study to pursue a master's degree in Bandung Institute of Technology

Meutia Wulansatiti currently works at Temasek Independent School as a Physics and Chemistry teacher. She obtained her bachelor degree in Physics from Parahyangan Catholic University in 2017 after which she continued with an internship at CERN, Geneva. During her time as a student with UNPAR, she participated in University Physics competition, where she and her teammates were a Silver Medalist for UPC.
